How We Handle Data
We designed Ave13Co to need as little information about you as possible. This page sets out exactly what that little is, so you can decide for yourself.
Reading the site
No account, sign-up or login is needed to read anything here. We don't use advertising networks, social media plug-ins or third-party analytics, and our fonts and images are delivered from this site itself rather than from outside services.
Our hosting provider records basic technical details when pages are requested — such as an IP address, the time, the page and the browser — so the site can be delivered, protected against misuse and repaired when something breaks. These records are kept for a short time and are not used to identify or profile readers.
Your cookie answer
The only thing this site stores on your device is your reply to the cookie notice, saved in your browser so the notice doesn't keep returning. See our cookie information page for details.
Writing to us
If you email mail@ave13co.com — directly or using the form on our contact page, which simply opens your own email program — we receive your address and whatever your message contains. We use it to answer you and, where relevant, to act on a correction or suggestion. Please don't send personal medical details: we can't give individual advice and don't need them to reply.
Messages are kept only as long as the conversation needs, and are normally deleted within two years unless something requires us to keep them longer.
Legal basis
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we handle this information on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping the site running securely and in replying to people who contact us.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to its use or ask us to limit it. Send your request to mail@ave13co.com and we will answer within a month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Younger readers
Ave13Co is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Updates
If our practices change we will revise this page. Last updated October 2026.
